Tumhare Husn Kay Naam is a 2023 Pakistani television series adapted from Hakeem Nayyar Wasty’s 1930 novel Akhtar aur Salma. It is directed by Saqib Khan and written by Sara Qayyum and Umera Ahmed. It stars Saba Qamar and Imran Abbas in leading roles.
The story is set in 1993 Lahore Punjab University College of Art & Design, PUCAD. Tumhare Husn Ke Naam focuses on the relationship between a poet and his inspiration. Sikandar Altaf (Imran Abbas) is renowned for his romantic poetry and affable versatility. He falls in love with Salma Qureshi (Saba Qamar), a lady with a golden heart and a straightforward personality. The narrative follows their voyage as they navigate the ups and downs of their relationship, and how their love inspires the poet’s work.
